There were a whole bunch of base cards and refractors that ended tonight that didn't have the words "Bowman Sterling" in the title. I lost out on a Craig Kimbrel refractor...

The first thing I noticed was the huge pictures on the base prospect cards, which I like. It lets the player be the focus of the card, which isn't always the case. Lots of cards have a lot of border/decor/etc to them, and we lose the focus of the card, which is the player. When applied to autos though, there's a lot of white. I may or may not warm up to that.

The base RC set is reminiscent of the 2005 design, but it's different enough I think. The design of the prospect set is similar to last year, but hey, last year was pretty nice. The relic cards and dual autos are a major step back from last year, and do look a lot like Finest. I mean, they used the same die cuts for the dual relics as they did for football.

Topps also didn't use all repeat imagery from BDP like it has been recently, I only see a few. Even though there's really no reason to use repeats at all, I give them credit for what they did.

Overall I give the design a 7, not considering it's all stickers.

Thought the same thing. And the picture sucks to begin with, so no need to see it in multiple sets. Like the new Bauer picture though.

anyone know what phillies are in this one? Like the rc auto designs but the sticker's corners going over the "topps cert auto" and some part of the rc logo aren't too eye appealing.

Stickers make them look like crap. I think I'd rather the ugly silver stickers that are incorporated into the design then a clear sticker that is just placed on the card. It's unfortunate that this is considered a higher-end product.
