Hey guys, box arrived today. I will try my best to get it back out on Wednesday, but it very likely won't be until Thursday.

Update:

Here's what I took:

Here's what's going in (and I'll probably grab a few other things to throw in before I ship out tomorrow):

Sorry for the crappy photos, my photo camera is obviously nice and scratched up from being dropped a few too many times.

EDIT: Like I said, more to be added:

Bill Menard - okay guys, so good news is that the box is packed and ready to go. Bad news is that my PO decided to reject me in shipping it as a flat rate box because "the box has been altered," due to the amount of stuff in.

So looking for some thoughts. I can try to ship it in TWO medium flat rate boxes (and probably have to put the cards into smaller boxes, which isn't an issue), then the next person can try to go back to a large flat rate, because as we all know, all PO's are different on what they'll accept. Or I can ship it via a normal box, though that still likely won't be cheap. Thoughts?

The issue they're claiming is that because what is in it causes the top flaps to bend over, so it makes the box about a half-inch taller than it normally is. A new box won't fix that issue. Let me try taking it to a different PO to see if that works.

Well, I know we got it all to fit and be accepted at several post offices. I'm wondering if you can try to rearrange or take some stuff out and keep it for yourself so that you can get it to close the way they want it?

I'm sure you've tried hard to get it all to fit back in, but I don't really know what else to suggest. I mean, you can go two boxes, but as you stated that will be much more costly. I think two medium flat rates will cost significantly more than just sending it regular priority, but maybe not.

Do you know how much the box actually weighs? I'd estimate it was around 20 lbs.

Unfortunately was rejected at PO #2 . Taking out more won't resolve it because it's the fourth 800 count box in there that causes it to be too tall. This lady said she could do it, but there's the chance the receiver could get hit with extra costs, and I'm not about to take the risk of the next person getting hit with a $25 charge. With that, the lady at this PO give me a different style Large Flat Rate box, so I'll see if that works better.

As for the two medium flat rates, that'd put us at approximately $13 each ($26). The cost to ship without flat rate is over $40.

Oh, and here's what the issues are (one side now taller than the other, and the top flaps don't meet):

Unfortunately I'm not about to take a 600-800 count box worth of stuff just to make it all fit. Can't bring myself to take all that without adding to it. With that said, the good news now is that I got it all to fit in this new box the lady at the PO gave me. I had to swap out a 600 count box for a couple 300 count boxes, but it's all in there. The bad news, I probably won't be able to get it out until tomorrow now.

No worries & great effort on your part.
