Halonut said:outside of #1, 3 and 5...that list is garbage. trout is a much better prospect than grichuk at #2, trevor bell has a live arm but his fastball is straight and i wouldn't put him in the top 10 and while armista did hit well at lo a, he has limited upside. if i were to rank the angels top 10, it would look like this...
#1-reckling 91-93mph with a nasty curve and developing change
#2-trout 5 tool talent with an advanced approach for an 18 yo
#3-conger "if" he stays behind the plate could have a premium bat for the position
#4-grichuk power potential galore, limited secondary tools and need to refine approach
#5-bourjos great speed, defense and gap power. should slide into CF once Torii is gone
#6-walden great stuff with a live arm, injury concern keeps him from ranking higher
#7-mesa martinez live young arm, reminds me of a young ervin santana
#8-richards seemed to put it together after being drafted, throws in the mid 90's consistently
#9-skaggs projectable frame with good upside
#10-kohn dominant fb with developing secondary pitches. could be a force in the pen as soon as late 2010
Just missed-chaffee, chatwood, smith, armista, bell, keher, trumbo
