I'm leaning towards Schaub but figured I'd get some more opinions. Here's the reasoning:

Week 2: Schaub vs TEN
357 yd, 4TD, 0 INT

Week 2: Brady vs NYJ
216 yd, 0 TD, 1 INT

HOU has since lost Daniels and TEN had some pretty key Defensive injuries for that game.

Brady is literally on fire right now. 4 consecutive 300+ yd and 13 TDs in the span. Coming off that loss from IND, Beli will probably try to run up the score just to prove he can.

Schaub.

While the Texans don't have Owen Daniels anymore, they still have Andre Johnson. He's a beast and tore the Titans apart the last time they met.

But really, you can't go wrong either way. Brady should have a much better game. He got back into his rhythm since week 2.

I'd probably lean toward Brady. As someone else said this is a "statement" type game for them. After last week, and the previous game with the Jets they are probably looking to hang 40+ on the Jets. Most times that whole make a statement stuff is just words, but more often then not I think Brady and NE really do that and excel at that.

Also didn't Tenn. have some secondary people hurt, like Cortland Finnegan? I thought I saw that they got some people healthy and it has translated to much better play in the secondary. Not that Schaub isn't a good play, but I wouldn't expect him to put up such gawdy numbers this time around.

Every time I've had a dilemma between these two, they both blow up and score almost similar points.

I would say Schaub but the Titans defense has stepped up their game.

The Jets also aren't as dominant as they were at the beginning of the year.

New England could indeed play a "statement" game, but the statement could be a "hangover" effect from the constant barrage of questioning regarding the fateful call.

Clearly the confidence lacking NE defense hasn't felt any better all week and if the defense suffers, the offense may never get the ball.

Yeah - that could prove true. I was pretty much thinking of what NE will be looking to do, but conversly I would not be surprised to see the JETS try to run the ball 40+ to keep the ball out of his hands, if they are able to keep it close.

I'd go with Brady, even though Schaub went to my HS.

But I gotta ask, how did you get both of them on your team?

Keeper league. We get to keep 2 but only if you drafted them in the 10th round or later. Getting keepers is tough in this league and you have to plan years ahead.

I picked up Turner the year before he left for Atl (2 years ago). Picked up Schaub last year. Had to choose between Cutler and Schaub as my keeper, glad I made the right choice (thank you Chicago for picking him up and making the decision easy!)

I won the league last year so had last draft pick (10 man). All 9 first picks were RB and I couldn't let Brady go. Now I'm 200 points ahead of 2nd place (huge margin) but lost all 3 of my RB (Turner/Brown/Benson). We'll see how it goes from here. I'm probably going to auction off Brady after week 12 for a starting RB if Turner and Benson are worst than thought.
