Wow...big market tactics coming from ATL...sad that he didn't get his chance to finish with the home team.

Sad day but the Braves have to do it. Glavine throwing 83 is batting practice and now this allows Hanson to be called up.

Hanson is probably making his last start in the minors.

Wonder if the Mets will try to get him again since they could probably use a starter.

We should try and sign him - we can use his bat!

Aren't you a Mets fan? Didn't the Met's fly a guy all the way to the west coast just to fire him last year?

This not true at all. Look at Jamie Moyer! That is not batting practice at all with the way that he throws? It doesn't matter how fast that you throw, it is location, location, location!

I think the Braves may have done him a favor by releasing him. This way he won't have it on him that he's in the way of Hanson. Plus they did it at a great time for him because he just threw 6 shutout innings. I think he'll catch on elsewhere.

Glavine today isn't Jamie Moyer...

Based on fastball wise he is. The are very similar in being slow, but that doesn't matter.

So you're saying your original point doesn't matter, and agreeing with me...I agree. ;)
