We need to kick the tires on this break to get it going. Perhaps a giveaway for a slot. You can post that in the main hobby talk forum section. No links, but your title can say "Enter to win a free ($130) slot in a 35 Case Break of Bowman Chrome". Then you can describe the break in the thread, no links, and then ask people to do something to "enter" to win a free slot, then determine how you will award that free slot. Either way, it will certainly promote this break in a big way.

by the way...
for those of you who have done these on here before, is it typically this slow to get some action or do people wait til closer to the break...

I figured it would be tough to fill, but this is a bit slower based on feedback and discussions.

no idea on this site since im basically new here, but as for the other one im in, they usually do fill a little faster than this, especcially in the beginning, though this has to be the biggest most intense break by a huge margin ive seen, thus why i finally joined th site, heh. would it be against rules to advertise this on other forums?

You cannot mention the site on other sites. It creates bad karma and we kill (just like any other forum) any threads promoting other forums.

If you have friends on aim you can feel free to promote it.

Also if you are interested in getting it filled, it always helps to tweet, facebook a link to the break to get buyers in. Also, if the OP wants to create a blurb, it couldn't hurt to to post his blurb with a link on your personal home pages. If enough people post links out there and the break shows up in the top 3 on google for the search term "2010 bowman chrome" it likely would fill very quickly.
