Ben Revere: Twins may call up Ben Revere

La Velle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune writes that there are "hints" that the Twins may call up outfield prospect Ben Revere from Triple-A Rochester.
It's mostly a matter of necessity, as the Twins are almost out of healthy bodies in the outfield now that Jason Repko will likely need to go on the disabled list with a quad injury. Revere, 23, has a .326/.386/.406 batting line over parts of five seasons in the minor leagues. He doesn't have much in the way of power, but is a solid contact hitter and has excellent speed in the outfield. May. 4 - 8:53 am et

Since he's not a power hitter, is it true that the only way you will see some significant profits is if he goes on a long hitting streak or bats .370 straight off?

I'm curious from the experienced prospector's perspective that do you actually see some increases in price JUST BECAUSE he got called up? Sometimes do the cards stay stagnant or actually go down if the player doesn't make a splash?

I think I paid around $5 for his BC card (lost it tho )

as well as .50-$1 for the TriStar card. Got him to sign it for free

Doesn't look like there's been any price jump yet...unless I'm mistaken. I kept pulling him out of 07 Bowman draft. In the limited packs/boxes I bought, I got 2 base and 1 ref auto.
