Of those two, Romine.

Cervelli is all we need. Jesus isn't ready yet and neither is Romine man. I love both of them to heart, but let Cervelli do his thang!

Chad Moeller? ugh

Good move here. Cervelli will start, and Romine/Montero will develop. No rush here! :D

The way the Yankees have been getting injured Montero and Romine might both be up here.

Montero can DH, replacing Nick Johnson
Romine can replace Posada

What would be the point of rushing them?

Cervelli has been fantastic and he would not lose his job to Romine.

Montero is not even adjusted to AAA, why would they bring him up to the majors already?

Other than for the sake of the cards in your sig, this does not seem like a great idea.

Do you realize that Montero is hitting .230 and got bench already once this year for a lack of effort.

Not likely Montero is really struggling in the minor this year. U really don't want him to be DH at such a young age.
Romine may get a chance because defensively he is ready.

yankees wont call up either guy, cerveli is yougn and will only need a day off here n there and chad can handle that. your not going to promote a guy whose been struggling of late and benched for lack of effort to the bigs in the same week. would be horrible mixed signals

This almost reminds me of When McCann was called up to Atlanta, call up Romine and let him run with the job. Montero reminds me of Saltalmaccia and is tradebait.

he is thinking with his stash. Sadly by the time he listens to the people telling him he will be traded the cards will be 50% cheaper.

I know that it is too early for Montero, probably not so much for Romine. I think he could make the leap into the majors better than Montero right now. I brought up their two names because the Yanks really don't have any other options right now. Chad Moeller? Maybe...

It is kind of funny. Montero is hitting .230 in AAA right now, but when Cervelli got called up to the Bronx he was hitting .187 in AA!!!! I would rather stick with Moeller now and let the future work it's course.
