perhaps I misunderstood...I took it as he does not have or use paypal and wanted to pay directly to me, but yes paypal allows debit card transactions, no problem there

paypal will allow you to send an invoice to anyone with an email address

if that person does not use paypal and does not want to use paypal they can pay the invoice with a credit card withotu creating a paypal id

Yep, done that many times since much of my business is direct.
