I know several people have investments in him on this board but I haven't been able to find out why he hasn't pitched since July 16th. Especially since they took is slow and easy with him and had him start the season in Helena

Thanks in advance

this was a couple days ago,
http://community.sportsbubbler.com/.../2009/08/03/corey-patterson-to-nashville.aspx

In other news, I emailed Jake Odorizzi's agent about his recent absence from the mound with the Helena Brewers. He told me that Jake experienced some discomfort in his forearm when working on his mechanics between starts. The Brewers played it cautious and allowed the young right-hander to rest his arm for a couple weeks.
Odorizzi is now cleared to pitch once again, and will be on the mound in the next couple days. Still cautious, however, he will be limited to two-inning outings until the discomfort has officially subsided.

He felt a twinge in his elbow or shoulder. They are just being super careful with him....
