Ok so Parra starts for Bush. Nothing out of the ordinary there .
However when they take out Parra they bring in Bush? He pitches to 1 guy
and then is pulled? So now you have blown your starter for 3 days. Why?

Because Ken Macha wants to get fired.

Pitching to one batter doesn't exactly mean he can't start the next day or a couple of days later. Pitchers always throw bullpen sessions on their off days and facing one batter isn't any more strenuous than a bullpen.

I would disagree 100%. As a former college pitcher myself, I know from experience that even pitching to one hitter is much more strenuous than throwing a bullpen. The overall strain your put on yourself in warming up for the game and actually pitching the game is a totally different level than a bullpen.

Now I am certainly not saying that he can't come back, he most likely will be able to.

Yea, that was a poor word choice and I was gonna change it. It does take more effort, but I was just getting at that I do't see how pitching to one batter would ruin his future start. Unless he injured himself.

He threw 13 pitches to Shumacher, at least a relief appearance that ended on a high note

Brewers need to cut ties and eat salary with a few players. They have some decent young arms that seem to be a big improvement over the likes of Suppan who gives up at least a few runs each time he pitches, which wouldnt be bad, but he usually only now pitches one or two innings
