Grab Bags that included 200 level seat to April games against the Pirates with bobble heads and other give aways for $10 a bag

Bobbleheads started at $2 each and then were down to 2 for $1 by the end. I picked up a couple dozen including a few variations in the bunch.

All in all a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I didn't think I would run out of baseballs, but I did. I wish I brought more.

Nice! So Prince was there after all. Thats a good day right there. I still need a Braun 8x10 myself (personalized would be great). Sounds like it was fun.

Sounds like a great day. I'd love to see scans of your results. How is the Brewers event set up? Are autographs free, or is similar to the Twins, where you pay per player/group?

Now I'm pissed I didn't go. I KNEW this would happen, but the wife talked me into getting the taxes done. I figured it was the best thing to do, but i knew I'd feel guilty. The USO even had free tickets that i could have picked up...argh!!

The drive to Milwaukee from Madison played a little in me not going, but I KNEW I should have gone. Nice haul BTW!

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

That's the best thing I have ever heard. Maybe Cecil Fielder should have done that when he played ball.

Braun $25
Fielder/Weeks $25
Uecker/Attanasio $25
Hardy, Hart, Gwynn, Bush, Suppan, Villanueva,Gallardo,Cameron, Macha each $10
Coffey/Parra $10
Rivera/Morlan $10
Everyone else FREE

I didn't know what to expect even though I called the Brewers on Thurday for a better idea. The temperature was about 5 degrees in the mornin, so I dressed to be standing outside. They let everyone line up inside the building. Like usual, they weren't ready for what was to transpire. The Brewers had the lines wrap around so the first couple hundred people were standing next to the 1000th or so in line. Everyone was real mature meaning there was virtually no skipping in line. It could have been real nasty.

The lines were hard to follow for the autographs. Hoffman and Brauns were next to each other and I was continually asking each usher which line I was in. I'm not positive they know all the time.

Braun took forever to sign, because he personalized everything. Whats your name, how do you spell it. His line was moved to a different spot because ke took up his time, and Hoffman was ready to sign. It took a half an hour to get through 50 people. At lot of the earlier people in line had jerseys to get signed and they were pissed it was inscription only.

Uecker was his same miserable self. Each time I see him in person its not the same guy on the radio. He would only sign the 5x7 postcards given out. Nothing else. Everyone in line was complaining after spending $25 and told they couldn't get their stuff signed. People were complaining to Attanasio, so Uecker then started signing what the people wanted.

I will continue the update after I feed my daughter

Game Used bats were $25 each. I know of someone that received a Gabe Gross autoraphed, but after that they were all gone by the time I got there.
Game Used helmets were gone also.
Line Up cards $10
autographed OMLB $10 of players no longer with the team. I seen Doc Medich, Jerry Augustine, Derrick Turnbow, Claudio Vargasand damien Miller. I'm sure there were more players, but I was there later.

Game Used Spring training jerseys were $75 and minor league jerseys were $60 I think.

Clinics for the kids taught by Jerry Augustine, Larry Hisle, Ken Sanders and Jim Gantner with the help of the UWM baseball team.

I don't know whose idea it was to have Mike Rivera and Eduardo Morlan be a $10 signature instead of free, but there were maybe 30 people in line for them. I was standing next to that area inline for Gamel/Salome( I was 20th in a line of about 200)and it was sad. Maybe an additional 20 people came sparsley through the line to get them. It must have been about 50 autographs tops that they signed. Rivera/Morlan sat in their chairs with at times 5 minutes in between autograp seekers.

$10 grab bads were sold that included 2-3 bobble heads, thundersticks, car flags, shirts, pins, magnets, and 2 200 level tickets to the April Pirates series, and other left over give away items.

Of course the Prince was going to be there he now has 18 million reasons to play like someone who just got a decent
contract. thought he would be nice and grace the fans with his presents now that he is a few million richer

According to Tom Hardicourt, Brewers beat writer the reason why Prince was added to the schedule mid week was because the talks on a new contract looked good. Last year, when the Brewers renewed Prince's contract after he declined a 5 year 60 million contract he no-showed the season ticket holder event.

All the more reason to then boycott the guy. Seems since you just got 18 million over 2 is the only reason he decided to show up. And actually it may have been in the deal ( the contract) I now it was in Sammy Sucka's contract when re signed that stupid contract the cubs gave him. He needed to appear at least 2 Cubs Convention for the length of the contract, which was 5 years. So he came to the first 2 and then skipped the last ones.

That's why Prince will be traded either mid-season this year or after next year for pitching. Probably this year, since the Brewers seem to be holding back some payroll for later in the year.

Either way, someone will want Prince for $11.5 mil next year, if not $6.5 this year. Probably an AL team.
