Brian Daubach?!?!??!?!

His brother Brad is my freshmen baseball coach. I know he (brian) was in the Pro's but thats all I know. I was woundering what you guys thought of him. thanks

I remember some friends and I being at a bar in Montreal and striking up a conversation with some guys from Boston. Nice guys but they quickly got a bit too wasted. We left to head somewhere else and, walking back to our hotel at about 4am, ran into the Boston guys again. One of them had somehow acquired a swivel chair, like for a computer desk, and was spinning around on it in the middle of the street yelling "Fahking Brian Daubach Rules!!!" over and over.

IMO, he was the 2nd best clutch hitter I have seen play for the Sox. He was pretty average but he ALWAYS got a big hit when he came up late in games at Fenway. Hes coaching a team up in New Hampshire this year I believe. I believe Dan Duquette is in charge of the team and hired him for this season.

Daubber was great for his time in Boston. Definitely a "Dirt Dog" kinda guy. I always wondered what happened to him...

That didn't work out too well, but he did do a little analyzing for FSN during the 06 playoffs.

I always liked him. He had a 99 Topps Traded card I remember, because it was one of the decent cards in the set (at least in my opinion) back then because it was around the time he was making some noise in Beantown.

This is how I'll always remember him. It would seem like he'd hit .150 for three weeks, and then all of a sudden go 17-22 with 15 RBI. The very definition of a streak hitter.

He's on WEEI as a co-host every once in a while, and he's pretty insightful, which gets lost on that show because he doesn't yell.
