Brian Mcnamee files $10Mill lawsuit against Roger Clemens

Mcnamee has filed a $10 million defamation lawsuit against Clemens. This is just back and forth and continues to get more and more ugly.

The longer this is drawn out the more and more I hate Mac.

Screw that guy.

Totally threw Clemens under the bus to make money when they were SUPPOSEDLY friends.

McNamee has every right to file this suit against Clemens, and this suit is 100% Clemens' attorneys fault. The defamation suit against McNamee is all but thrown out, yet Clemens' attorneys will not drop the case. Also, this is a no shock considering McNamee's attorneys alluded that if Clemens did not drop the defamation suit that they would indeed countersue...and that was right after Clemens filed.

Clemens and his attorneys have taken each and every single wrong turn this entire year and every turn they take, they continue to tarnish their client.

And as far as "throwing" anyone under a bus, Roger threw himself under the bus, his wife under the bus, his career under the bus, his legacy under the bus.

All sides point to Roger, not McNamee.

This is how I see it.

Mac probably provided Clemens with steroids. Maybe even introduced the stuff to the guy in the first place. Helped him take them for years. Was Clemens confidant. Clemens and him were in cahoots together and trusted each other never to speak of anything that was happening between the two. Kind of like a marital affair. Clemens never once went out of his way to do anything against Mac, but Mac's kid got sick and he needed some way to get some money, so he decided to throw Clemens under the bus. Just as a marital affair, one of the members involved gets pissy and decides to do everything in their power to ruin the other even if it makes them look bad as well.

Why in the BLUE HELL would Mac keep all of those needles and bloody items all these years if he didn't have intentions of turning on Clemens when the time came to do so?

He seems like a snake in the grass to me. He was just waiting on the perfect time to pounce.


Do I think Clemens is innocent? No. I think that Clemens has juiced for years and have said as much the last 10 or so years. Do I love the guy? Yes I do, and I always will. He is, and will be, my favorite pitcher of all time. Steroids or not. You can't blame him for doing steroids when 1, nearly everyone else was doing it at the time, and 2, there were no repurcussions at the time. To my knowledge he's never failed a drug test.

I DO think he's went about this in the worst way possible in every reguard. If I was him and even McGwire, I'd just take the Giambi and Pettitte approach with it. Just admit it and get it out of the way. People are forgiving of the Giambino and Dandy Andy because of it. But McGwire and The Rocket are just making things harder on themselves.
