Broke 2 boxes of 08 prime cuts last night

First boxes i opened since april of 2008.

could not pass on them. local shop had them for 160 a box.

Question.

It was a 5 box case of prime cuts at local store i had my 2 pulls and another customer pulled jackie robinson jersey and pete rose auto. Does that mean the 5th box is the rookie?

$160 is a great price for 08 Prime Cuts IMO...and I don't think that their is a RC auto as the main hit guarenteed in any case, but I could be wrong.

Thanks. i was on the beckett boards for 2 years 1500 plus posts. same name. i still can't believe they ruined that site. i miss all the box breaks. i got an email from a local guy telling me to check this site out. seems great. is there a story behind it? old beckett members start it???

160 per is a great price. i would pick up that last box

as for what may be in the last box, who knows if it will be a rc auto? there's no guarantee on a 5x box mini case.

worried about the dude box but you never know. i have seen a few 5 box breaks on you tube and they all have a rookie. but the inside cards are better.

Ya 160 is great. nice thing about having this local guy. he marks up every thing the same from tops total to exquisite. so i get some real good deals.

Funny story since i am talking about the local store. a guy opened up a box of topps sterling last week and pulled a ruth box. he opened it and it had a lou gehrig 3 pice jersey #1/1 in it.

So I see you only listed some of the cards for you 2 box break. And like someone else said
I would go get the last box if you could, they maybe a Shoeless Joe 1/1 waiting for you.
Then agian maybe no, nut if I could I would buy the box.

yes it is product of the year i hope the industry realizes how important donruss is to the hobby and they can keep producing product. it brought me back to buying a little wax. i had a 8 month vacation from it. in april of of 2008 i bought a 5 box case of premiere baseball for 1200 dollars from local store. i got 4 johnny bench jerseys all the same different numbers 4 of the same rookie autos. and 2-3 other doubles. and out of the 20-25 cards half were damaged beyond selling. no case hit. Nothing worth 20 dollars. thanks UD! ended up losing almost 900 dollars so i quit.
