Hey fellas, just thought I would share with you all what has shown up on my doorstep the last couple of days. I had two friends send me some boxes to try to make me feel a little better. These guys are aces! I would like to get them on here. Every once in a while, they'll send me some stuff, as there's no other way I'd be able to get it. So, what I ended up with was four boxes of Goodwin and one box of Bowman Chrome Baseball. I didn't hit anything big but it was fun breaking wax again. I'm only gonna post the hits from the boxes and if any of you want to see scans just ask...........

Bowman Chrome break:

several refractors

Miguel Cabrera blue refractor
Jordan Zimmermann xfractor
Chih Kang Kao WBC red refractor
Zach Putnam Chrome base autograph and....

and extra hit in a Dayan Viciedo base auto redemption

Goodwin boxes(4 total)

several SP's including Ryan Zimmerman(such a beautiful card to me!)
several SSP's including Ken Shamrock

one SP variation of Gerry Lopez surfer dude

Game Used Jerseys
Troy Tulowitzki
Chad Billingsly
Brandon Webb
Howie Kendrick
Justin Verlander
Barry Zito
Brian McCann
and
Tony Gwynn

Autographs
Chris Perez
Kent Hrbek
Paul Molitor
Dustin Pedroia

and a redemption

Landmarks Redemption? WTF is this? I guess I am gonna get lucky and get a dabbling of salt on my card from the Dead Sea. YAAAYYYY!

Everything is available for sale. Just ask. If you want to know about the minis, I can give you info on that stuff. I got some nice blacks but no Magicians or anything like that.

if someone sent you some boxes to open to hopefully make you feel better and cheer you up is it really the right thing to do to offer what you pulled for sale?

i certainly hope you are felling better after what you have been through. i think your best days are ahead of you.

Uhhh, yeah, I can do with it whatever I want. Its no different then trading off what cards I don't want to keep. I have the few cards that I want to keep stashed. Whats the big deal with that? I really am trying to save up as much money as possible so that one day I might be able to restart and purchase the cards I would like to replace whats gone. These guys know I sell stuff off if I don't want it. Its not like they say, here ya go, NOW DON'T SELL OR TRADE THIS STUFF OFF!

Anyways, three nice autos: Kent Hrbek, Paul Molitor, Dustin Pedroia

Plus landmark card. Pretty sweet. I'm gonna try and get my hands on some entomology cards.

I was fairly pleased with the Goodwin autos. I like the fact that they were on card, and that I think I got some better names than a few others I have seen. As for the Landmarks card, I was happy when I pulled it but I have NO patience when it comes to Upper Deck and their crappy redemption system. I really don't have a place for a "landmark" piece card in my list of wants, so I wouldn't mind moving it to someone who might find a better home for it. Oh wait, I guess I would be considered a ****** if I were to move anything anyone has ever given me in my collecting years. Man I'm goin to hell.

And what fuggin answer would that be? It seems that you seem to follow me around from time to time and try to throw mud in my face. Don't you have better things to do?

No. They are a couple guys who I have helped over the years by sending them cards I have pulled that they needed for their PC's or whatever. I had no use for them so I passed them along. It really pisses me off that someone is gonna come in here and play tough guy and tell me what I should or shouldnt' be doing with my stuff especially before inquiring about the backstory. I am sent some extra boxes here and there, and if I hit something they want, they'll even buy the **** back from me. If its truly a gift, then I keep the stuff. I have lots and lots of cards that were sent to me as gifts(except for the ones that have been thrown away or destroyed in SodaGate) so I know the do's and don'ts of generosity.

I'm not mad at you dude. Mburgin is who I was directing that at. I will try to get some scans up by tomorrow evening. There are some really nice looking cards in the Goodwin.
