Bryan Augenstein is hurt

Bryan Augenstein is hurt and Wes Roemer has been promoted to Mobile.

Hope its nothing serious with Augenstein. He reminds me alot of Matt Clement when he came thru Mobile in the late 90's.

When did this happen? He is being called up Wednesday and seemed fine after his start from what I read.

He was placed on the restricted list but the Baybears are listing it has a injury and that he will skip his next start with Reno.

Hmm intresting. I was really looking forward to his ML Debut Wednesday. Hopefully we hear more on this soon.

Went to the press box and they clarified it for me:

D-backs placed him on the restricted list because the Diamondbacks aren't calling him up until Wednesday. They want to have Korecky in the 'pen for as long as possible.

Putting Augenstein on the restricted list allows the BayBears to add Wes Roemer to their roster while allowing the Diamondbacks to keep Korecky temporarily in the 'pen. Basically, they've effectively made Bryan Augenstein disappear from the organization's rosters

Just ran into Lance Johnson which was cool. May go home and get some cards for him to sign.
