Its safe to assume that because of the article on beckett and the topps video/pictures showing the guys signing the cards, forgers/fakers seeing that article probably started drooling and foaming at the mouth........we will see more I am sure.

This account has been known for selling fake bowman originals, fake UD buybacks include the griffeys without the COA stickers, Jeters etc...

Well, the original one just ended for $750.

Beckett had predicted this to be a $500 card. Wow, they were wrong. Shocker.

Didn't this happen a couple years ago with the Topps McDonald's All-American set for basketball? I seem to recall some autographs getting leaked out. Not saying these are legit, but it made me think of those cards.

That is amazing, considering it's just an IP auto.

pretty sure it is a forged auto looking at others he signed that weekend.

Another thing I am perplexed about is, if this card were real, why take so long to put it on eBay if that was your intention to begin with? Who gets a Bryce Harper Aflac auto, then waits 1.5 weeks to contact Topps, and then decides to list it on eBay? That's just odd to understand. You'd think there would be a rush to put it on eBay, at least within the first few days of obtaining it, if your intention was to sell.
Furthermore, if you received this card in person at the game, with the hologram on the back, why would you even question its authenticity??
It's not like the girls handing out the cards at the gate had the time to sign them with a blue sharpie and stick holograms on the back to dupe people.

It is obvious these cards have been forged. Anyone can forge an AFLAC card and take a topps sticker off of one card and put it on another--very simple to do.

Seems that the forgers/fakers are a bit more smarter than I thought, and do frequent webistes and forums to get info--case in point with the earlier post of pictures and beckett articles regarding signed versions of these cards--for these criminals to get info on good cards to forge

We didnt see any of these surface earlier, because quite frankly there was no information on them in the secondary market being Signed or unsigned. Now since they have been handed out and blogs, articles, pictures etc. have surfaced, the con artists can make their move.

Sadly, it looks like it is a pretty lucrative business with the Money these are commanding on ebay. Also, this twall character that is selling the lot with the Harper in there, is making super $$$$ on his lot with a few high end authentic cards mixed in with a bunch of fakes, and whoever wins that lot just got taken for a few Grand.

I dont know about many of you, but to be honest this is starting to get really really old, and when more and more innocent buyers start finding out they have been had, I feel that we will begin to have less and less buyers as it will drive them away from, at the very least, making purchases online. Of course, I remember all the fakes being printed even back in the 80's with a few key Rookies that were commanding big money so I guess it is nothing new...

No where did the seller say they got personally at the game. They certainly could have bought it second-hand and is now trying to flip it on eBay.

While I believe with the credible evidence here this card is a fake. However, I don't like the way everyone on here jumps the gun to make each person out as a thief.

I wonder how he will sign them IP, if he will personalize or not. But it is nonsens that they were handed out auto'd.

LOL, what a horrible fake. Both of the Aflac "autos" are obvious fakes as well.

You can still see the personalization on that one. It's probably one of the ones returned ttm. This kid is already even using a ghostsigner to sign his ttm requests, in case any of you have sent to him or had a return in the last month from him. They are ghostsigned. Pretty horrible.

The Aflac fakes are significantly better forgeries than his ghostsigner is doing.
