I logged in just to tell you how stupid you are.

Says the Kid who makes this comment! The stament was said in jest, and to compare this Kid to anyone other than himself in my eyes is foolish. Ill admit im oldschoolish and Dont like comparisions to All-Time greats. Who cares that just me. Like the Poster said he was just doing it for fun and I get that. How about we compare him to current players? Probably not as fun. Just to help ya put a bit with short stone minded comments like yours i would suggest you stay logged out
It would be like me just comming to log in to tell ya how stupid your user name is! Make sense? No

Nowhere in your original statement hinted that anything was in jest. What does one's username have to do with hoping to see another person fail? Is schadenfreude really your thing?

You hope young athletes fail too?

No, but I respect people with different opinions who at least try to engage in the discussion. I may not agree with mlbsalltimegreats when he says he hopes Harper fails but at least he attempted to answer the original thread. I'm not sure how such a comment as "I logged in just to tell you how stupid you are" contributes anything meaningful to the discussion.

I see you still haven't responded to the original question. C'mon man!!! Who would you compare Harper to based on what you've seen so far?

::facepalm:: I capitalize to make people like you upset  just don't be surprised if the kids does turns out to be avg. And yes I think with his playing style he will get hurt which could affect his whole career. Let see where he's at in 10 years heck 5 years. And grow some thicker skin its no wonder our society is getting more sensitive day by day....sheesh

Really, Conigliaro. That seems a little lame based on his situation that happened.

I hope that others know about what happened to him and his career and not just I. I appologize for not reading the thread fully(didn't read past the 1st post), but in a way, that option in the poll is kind of offensive to Conigliaro's personal legacy and family. I'm not trying to get into it, but that poll answer is a little insensitive imo.

Oh come on, dude. Anything can happen in baseball. What happened to Conigliaro was horrible, but it can happen to any player at any time. What would be insensitive would be making light of what happened to him, which I did not.
