No, but I respect people with different opinions who at least try to engage in the discussion. I may not agree with mlbsalltimegreats when he says he hopes Harper fails but at least he attempted to answer the original thread. I'm not sure how such a comment as "I logged in just to tell you how stupid you are" contributes anything meaningful to the discussion.

And yes I think with his playing style he will get hurt which could affect his whole career. Let see where he's at in 10 years heck 5 years. And grow some thicker skin its no wonder our society is getting more sensitive day by day....sheesh :lol:

I hope that others know about what happened to him and his career and not just I. I appologize for not reading the thread fully(didn't read past the 1st post), but in a way, that option in the poll is kind of offensive to Conigliaro's personal legacy and family. I'm not trying to get into it, but that poll answer is a little insensitive imo.

Oh come on, dude. Anything can happen in baseball. What happened to Conigliaro was horrible, but it can happen to any player at any time. What would be insensitive would be making light of what happened to him, which I did not.
