The Chiefs are going to have two big games this year. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys are playing in KC this year. If you were to buy a single ticket for either of these games then you HAVE to buy an equal number of tickets to a pre-season game.

Does any other team do this?

If you're not a season ticket holder, the Colts make you do this as well...that is if any tickets are available through the Colts ticket office.

It's a way to help them sell pre-season tix.

Lots of other teams that have a hard time selling tickets do this. For the last several years the Viqueens have tied one of their dog preseason games to single game sales for their home game vs. the Packers, something I'm sure they're doing again this year.
