I'm not trying to start something, who knows what he meant to say but it was something along the lines of this. He thought Pres. Obama and Boehner playing golf together was like ****** and Netanyahu playing golf. I think he meant they hate each other and it was big fake publicity appearance. He seemed out of it from the small clip I saw. He's and entertainer and I don't know why anyone would want to know his opinions on anything related to politics. I figured he would get the boot as soon as I saw the clip.

I think the an important factor in his "firing" is the fact that ESPN is ultimately owned by Disney. I don't know how Disney may be affiliated with the Obama campaign, but I'm sure they didn't want anything to do with such controversy.

What would he sue them for. Not using his song that ESPN pays him royalties for. OK so ESPN will either not have a song the rest of this year to start Mon Night Football. Or they will get a new singer to sing a new song. Hank wasnt a EMPLOYEE of ESPN he just sang a song that MNF used for opening of the game.

Lastly ESPN is 75 percent garbage. I dont mind it Sat/Sun morning or random times during the week to find out info about the sports world.

It would've been the same thing if he said "...like Chris Brown playing golf with Rihanna" or something I'm surprised he didn't say "...like the Confederates playing golf with the Union"

He never said Obama's actions were similar to Hitlers. Calling Obama the "enemy" didn't help though. Once again, overreaction by the media.
