It's an ugly mass produced sticker auto. What do you expect?
They are so many Ripken Auto out there to choose from. Why settle for swiss steak, when you can get a sirloin?

I agree with you. Just saying nobody would have seen a ripken auto sell for 50 nevermind 30 10 years ago.

I prefer the filet mignon.

I would dare say that Cal's sig is the most plentiful of all star autographs. Someone close to him is on record as saying that Cal has given out at least 1 million autographs. I would believe that.

Hey guys, I was the 3rd place bidder on this and I wonder if anyone can provide an estimate of what it is "worth"? I know "worth" is very subjective, but what would a traditional book type value be for this item.

It was a /25 2001 Donruss Elite Dominator. I figured it was probably "worth" $100, and I sniped around $60 shipped. Wasn't too concerned about losing, I only collect for "deals" anyway. I'm sure if someone was really wanting this item for a long time, they'd probably bid a lot more.

Ideas?

Does anybody know how much the Cal Ripken /8 Game Used Autographed Baseball on the Sweet Spot would be from 2004 Fleer Legacy with COA. These were the balls that came in the boxes with some cards.

Whatever the price, the framed version sells for a premium!! Check it out!

Yeah I am sure it would, but as long as the ball isn't taped in the frame, everybody should be good.

As for your question, looks like about $80. :ugeek:

lol, I may be new to cards, but not to collecting. Some auctions go undervalued, some go overvalued, and I'm sure the book value on this piece was not $80. Looks like a high feedback guy won it, so hopefully it was a collector and not someone who will relist with a $250 BIN tag. I was curious as to what the fair market value was here...

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but I've been collecting Ripken for about 10 years. It's interesting to see your earlier posts in this thread of cards I remember seeing/bidding on eBay. I don't do much higher end stuff, though I have a couple. I look forward to (hopefully) contributing to this thread occasionally. I'll can't wait for the show in Atlanta this weekend!

Welcome to the forums. I graduated from Georgia Southern University and am a member of Solomon's Lodge No. 1 in downtown Savannah. I love and miss that city.
