don't hate, that is a beautiful card. fyi i didn't win it the price tag had too many zeros, but serious though you should put this card on the top of your want list.

So did anyone in here grab that Charlotte? I would have grabbed it myself if it were an upgrade, but that copy had more flaws than mine. Mine is a PSA 5 FYI.

That copy was off-centered and after comparing the corners to mine, that copy seemed to be worse. My copy also has no edgewear, that copy was dinged up on the left. I can't imagine that will grade any higher than PSA 4, probably even less.

But if I didn't have it myself, I'd definitely grab one as a placeholder, regardless.

Anyone have a Select Stars Ripken? I haven't seen one in a while and I haven't checked the bay as I don't buy off ebay. I remember having it at one time and then sadly it had to go. I am trying to add one back to my collection.

No Russ, this was from like 93 or 94 Select. Its got a dufex front and has a green border on it at the bottom. Nowhere near the value of that one you just showed. This was a non serial numbered set.

No Russ, this was from like 93 or 94 Select. Its got a dufex front and has a green border on it at the bottom. Nowhere near the value of that one you just showed. This was a non serial numbered set.

Thanks, I love this card and the regular version. Always had a thing for 93 Select and its inserts for some reason! I just wish I could get PSA or SGC to label this as a Promo/Proof though.

I thought I was the only one! I have busted more packs of 93 Select than any other brand in my entire life. My collecting heyday was in 92-96 or so before I lost interest. I have all of the 93 select insert sets, but the Rookie Stars (red dufex) are buried somewhere at my parents house.

You can tell I'm a Ripken collector too, notice how he has the biggest screw down out of everyone
