I went ahead and picked up another 1981 WTF Rochester Red Wings card of Cal in a PSA 6. Getting the card broke from the slab and signed by Cal is on my list of things to do for 2010.

I don't collect Cal but from my days as a younger collector I have a good number of base and lower-end inserts....around 100 I guess.

I love Christmas. A year or so ago my mom started asking if there was anything I wanted from the world of memorabilia that she didn't have access to buy. She told me to pick something up and she would give me some cash to pay all or part of an auction. One of my favorite cards is a '92 Donruss Elite signature card of Cal bought using this agreement. The other night I was amazed at the price of a PSA 10 copy of this card. I contacted someone who recently failed to sell a PSA 9 and we worked out a deal. Merry Christmas!
