Russ, those are some nice looking cards.
Not near as nice as your recent mailday, but I'll take it.
Things are slowing down with the holidays.
Hope to pick up some larger lots and high end come the first of the year. Love income tax time. :D :D

THe '94 Studio Gold /5000 that Marlins sent is an amazing card in hand.
You can't tell from the scan, but the acetate part that is clear, is actually gold tinted. It's really sweet.

Yes but that is a once a year mailday - I don't think it'll be happening again for a long time. The only reason I was able to get those was because I sold some stuff and the wife never knew!!!

Did you get my email?

When I saw that at Nats in '08, for a mere $5, not even being a Ripken collector, I knew I had to get it (remembering how incredibly rare those were back in '94). Wish I would've had the Silver /10,000 to send to you as well :(.

Glad that you needed it and glad that another member gave me your addy so it could be done as a complete surprise 8-)

Hey guys, I am hoping someone might be able to help me out. I just picked up a 2007 UD Chronicles auto of Griffey. I've never seen one before and the old beckett magazine I've got doesn't have it listed. The reason I'm asking in here is because Ripken also has a Chronicles release from 2007 UD as well. Here is a scan of the Griffey, thanks for any help.

Thanks also for your freebie package!

Your scans looks much better than mine....I believe my scanner needs a good cleaning.

The 2010 SCD Catalog also does not list autograph versions of that card, they also don't list the printing plates.

Thanks. Someone mentioned this might have been a promo that was handed out. I have a scan of the back of the card it has the typical UD garb of "received and autographed card, blah blah blah".

If I was active on eBay at all I could likely pick up a few Sosa Cramer's for cheap.

But, I lack PayPal it's more of a chore.

Went home to visit family and stopped into a local card shop. Saw this promo. I don't know how rare it really is or if someone needs it. I think it's a $10 classic phone card promo? Not really sure. Anyway, I can stop back and get it if someone needs it. Who knows, maybe I can talk them down a bit.

Not too rare WOundedDuck. There are a few listed weekly on ebay.
THANKS FOR LOOKING OUT FOR US.

I'm good on that one, but someone else may need/want it.

Pretty slow of late.
My 2 arrivals this past week.
