I was a bit hasty in congratulating your score of 25.

As per the pre-1915 boxscore rule, when you encounter a season prior to 1915, you must go down the list of seasons for that team (sorted from most to fewest wins) to the next available season 1915-present.

You do not go back to the franchise list and pick the next team.

In your case, you selected the 1912 Pirates. The next available team was the 1976 Pirates.

Your revised score will be shown in post 25 below.

Sorry about that.

You are correct. Hopefully monton lets him know that.

Doh! As much time and thought as I put into this, I'm bound to overlook a few things. That's why I enlisted the help of you all.

Great catch, and he will be notified. Thank you kindly.

Here is your revised score, using the 1976 Bucs on May 15th.

Scoring Differential (runs scored - runs allowed): 2 (Beat Dodgers 4-2)
Strikeouts: 1
Complete Game: 0
2-3 Pitchers used: 3
HOF Pitcher Start: 0
HOF Pitcher Win: 0
Home Team: 5
Real Life Team Winning Streak: 1
Real Life Team Losing Streak: 0
Real Life Team Games out of 1st Place on that date: -2

This gives you a score of 10. My apologies again.

cjedmonton - How do double header games work. Do we take the best score of 1 of the 2 games or do we luck out and include both games together for a huge (or hugely less) score?

EDIT: Doh! I figured it out, it still counts as that number of games so it is whichever falls as the letter C game.

cjedmonton - My opponents in Games 3 and 4 both have Pedro Martinez pitching. Is he considered a Hall of Famer now or not until after his induction ceremony on July 26? The answer directly impacts my Game 3.

Interesting scenario. Pedro is a HOFer now, I'm afraid.
