1980 Charlotte O’s Police Orange Border Cal Ripken Jr. PSA 4—The Holy Grail of Modern Minor League Cards

I wanted to make sure the resident Ripken fans knew about this listing for Cal's 1980 Charlotte O's Police card. Although it has a reserve, it is the first copy of this card listed in auction format since 2007. Huggins and Scott also has a partial set of 1980 Charlotte Police cards listed. Not often that a person has the opportunity to buy one of these.

Based on recent sales for Cal's Charlotte cards I see this going over $5K even with the added commission.

Taking the estimate in consideration I do not expect to be a factor in the outcome of the auction.

Condition obviously plays a factor. However, a card this scarce brings a lot regardless of condition.
