yeah but manny sells tickets and jerseys and those in the seats buy concessions. added media coverage yields higher ad rates etc etc etc. will they win more games with him? who knows. they certainly didn't lose money though.

I think kershaw is the best or at least one of the best young pitchers. Everytime he pitches the LA bats take the day off.

I like Clayton, and I'll admit he doesn't get the best run support in the NL, but the offense has helped him more often than not when he is pulled in the third inning after walking four and is at 100 picthes, or worse.
