Great pickup man, Congrats!

Do you have it in-hand yet? I see the case says MLB authentic, does that mean it has the MLB Hologram on the ball, that would certainly help if you're looking to move it or even just to check on what it's from...

I would assume there is no authentication - the MLB authentic marking on the case is for when you buy an unsigned ball at a retail store i.e Target or a sporting goods store.

right - what do you think the best thing to do with it is other than spending $100 to get it authenticated?

Throw it up on eBay - it's kind of an odd looking ball from a random season - maybe an A's fan looking for a bargain will gobble it up.

It's a ball maybe worth a random $30-$40 to the right buyer - Matsui's autograph is nice to have, though I wouldn't know how much his autograph helps the value.
