ST games will be on MLB Network, ESPN, and all your local regional sports networks (ie...YES Network, SNY, NESN, Comcast Sportsnet, all the FSNs, etc.). Well worth the $12 for the Directv Sports Pack during the Spring. Much easier to watch on the big Plasma instead of the freeze/pause of the computer feeds....

BTW: I see MLB Network has the dreaded Subject to Blackouts disclaimer near their scheduled broadcast. Not sure how they will apply that in Spring Training. For instance, lets say the Twins are playing at the Yankees on the MLB Network. Do you black out MSP and the NY/NJ/CT area? Or do you black out Tampa and Ft. Myers? Last spring when I had the Sports Pack I got all the games. No blackouts!!!

i just saw something on mlb.com that says 100 select spring training games. That doesnt sound like all the games to me. I guess i will be waiting for the regular season to buy MLB.TV unless i see something that claims they will all be shown. I really wish i has MLB network or direct tv.

there are 140 spring telecasts by the various teams. Not every team televises every spring game because of production costs. Emphasis on the telecasts seem to be evening or weekend games for most clubs.

I'm sure MLB.TV will have more than 100 telecasts because I can't believe with the access to 140, they'll just throw away 40 games from the spring MLB television schedule.

With a FTA setup, you can watch most of the 140 games on the schedule for free.

MLB Network will have 61 games - some live, some tape delayed.

Last year MLBTV.Com had all the spring games. MLB Network will not carry all the games.

No... but they will have a couple games a day... starting today at 4PM and another game at 7PM. Im looking forward to the 7PM game..... first live action of 2009 for me.

I ordered it the last 2 years, but unfortunately not this year. There are no blackouts during ST. Last year with the Braves, it seemed like I got two - three games a week, including what I got on my TV to begin with. Well worth the $12, especially if you have a TV like my plasma where you can hook up your computer to it.
