He should be back to 100% by ST. The Mariners tried to avoid surgery on his knee but rehab didn't work so he ended up having the surgery anyways.

His stuff tanked after the surgery was announced (and even a little before that) so you probably paid high on some of the stuff. But he's definitely a strong buy candidate and anything you pick up now wont cost you much...nice stuff.

Not really. His stuff was never all that high so it didn't fall too much. I'm not on my laptop right now so I don't have what I paid but I'll post some of the numbers here.

I do know that I paid anywhere from 6-21 on the Contenders preview autos, the $21 right on release. I also know that the Contenders /38 went for upwards of 150+ right off the bat, luckily I got mine for under $40 dlvd.

I've tracked Raben's stuff and fortunately have some numbers (all prices delivered):
Before July, blue refractors sold from $15-$18. Since July $6.87, $5.20, $3.98, $6.99.
Orange refractors before July $37.00, $52.00, $42.84, $27.27. Most recent? October 5 for $19.00 delivered.

I didn't post to argue, but when prices get chopped in half, that qualifies as tanking. But to no fault of his own! Dennis Raben is an excellent buy right now and you have some great stuff for your Canes collection.

hmm. Not going to go against numbers. I really only have picked up one copy of each so other than the occasional search through completed listings i haven't tracked them.

Here is what I have paid.

$9 dlvd for 9.5 refractor
5 dlvd for xfr
12 for blue ref
21 for gold ref
27 for orange ref
39 for bowman red
30 for plate

I picked up most about a month after release, so I guess prices went up after i picked them up, then fell off after the injury.
