Canseco auctions at an all time high

I have been watching a ton of very high end exclusive cards go up for sale as of late.. I don't have the budget to even begin to bid on any of them. I just saw this auction today and while its not the super high end of the spectrum its a card that I truly desire to own at some point. This seller has had a handful of these.. I remember him selling 4 or 5 of them a little over a year ago so he must have been holding a mini monopoly on them. bet this one ends up going pretty high which is unfortunate for me.

His cards have been ridiculous lately, even before this latest embarrassment.

It helps not to advertise a card you want on the #1 most active message board.

I get the feeling he will gain back a lot of his popularity in the sports card market when all the PED stuff dies down (and I think it is), since he was the first to openly admit it. All these great players that are far better than he ever was have been caught, so he should no longer take the brunt of the negativity.

It's funny, I just added my first Canseco auto to my collection recently... it's a card I have always wanted it, and it sold for just $85. I've seen them sell for as much as $250.

I was thinking that Jose's stuff must be at an all time low!

Seems to be the same for Will Clark cards, maybe all of us who were fans in the late 80's an 90's are getting back into collecting.

I think the same. Thing is about Canseco is that people will remember him for beyond what he did in the field, even though what he did do in the field was tremendous to begin with.

did you or Mario see the Donruss Recollections auto that was on the bay last week....I HATE canseco but i remember when that card was THE card to own. I wouldnt mind owning a signed one for that reason and nostalgia purposes.
