These are the only button issues he has.. /8 and the guy selling actually had 3 of them. The former Canseco King is now selling out obviously by the high end stuff he just listed. Yet again this happens at a time when I have no high end money to spend. there are 3 things I don't have in my collection to this point an all are extremely rare.. a button, a bat knob or barrel, and a nice 1/1. Wish the timing was better on this cause this one would be a sweet addition to my PC.. where is the damn stimulous check when needed most? I would spend it on all the high end this guy listed for sale..some nice low numbered auto's and an UD game jersey patch edition which I really want too since its the last other than the 1/1 I need from that year and sets GU'ed.

Contact him. Work out a deal and maybe he will sell you small chunks at a time. I've done it in the past with Will Clark collections.

Okay, I have to ask...

This one has been on my want list pretty heavily. I will be gunning for it, and everyone else has every right to for themselves. I will request, though, that yu please not make it THAT expensive for me to win. :-D

Agreed. But to each their own.

I guess if you are a player collector then they are just another need on the checklist.

That being said, I wish the OP good luck on tracking down these cards for his PC.

yeah I thought of you on that DK reco.. I don't think it'll be all that cheap though just so you know. There are a couple other Canseco collectors out there spending some big money as of late and a couple of them really like the reco auto's specifically. good luck

to the above poster saying this button card is crappy.. yeah its very plain and simple but its the only button card canseco has in any issue so obviously I would love to have a copy in my collection.

i'm going off memory here but that card was pulled on the old beckett boards by a member and sold at auction for about $300 the first time around. it's numbered 1/1 so this is probably going to be your only chance at it adam.

Its not the 1/1 that is for sale..but a /12. I actually know who owns the 1/1 currently and it was never on ebay when he bought it.

I think as a player collector it's the fact that it's something different, and limited. There are tons of parallels, base, inserts, gu, auto, or patch cards for most players. There are not a lot of button cards for most players. You can get tons of jersey and patch swatches from one jersey, but only so many buttons. This is why I like buttons, laundry tags, and obviously MLB logos.

I personally love button cards, I mean if you are talking "player used" they need to use the buttons to wear the jersey, even if they just put the jersey on and take it back off.
