Can't believe this just happened

I work at an FBO and deal with private jet traffic and based tenants who keep their planes in our hangars. I just got off a little over an hour ago and my boss just sent me a message saying one of the tenants left me a present for all the help I provide him. Needless to say I'm pretty speechless
So he sends me these pictures and says this is what he left you

In terms of how to tell if it's real, I guess the obvious answer is to get it slabbed. Probably PSA for this era of card. It's one of those cards for which the grade is secondary to the authentication.

I figured grading is the choice but I was wondering to the naked eye if there was anything to look for to be able to tell if its legit or a reprint

On the topic of authenticity, I am pretty well versed with this particular card. So here are my findings without further hesitation...

Of all the commonly known fakes, this particular card shows none of the staple 'tell tale' signs of a fake. However, a better/larger scan of both front and back would be better. Having said that, I simply can not get past the really white borders on a otherwise well aged and obviously loved (creased) card. These 2 traits do not normally go together. So, although I can not say for sure it is a fake, I can not say it is authentic either. It would be worth the time and money to PSA it to be sure, but I would not be a buyer of that raw.
