I think the demand is for the player and not so much the set although there are some crazy folks who try to do this set.

Its the opposite with the Bazookas, there are crazy set collectors and the player does not matter. Hell, I got 85 for each of my Johans (bought them off ebay for 25 each)

If a set collector needs that card its worth much more than 25.

I would say the buyer who bought it might have bought it cause Grienke is hot, but it is probably more than that.

Something to do with it, but not much. I've seen Hanley's end for $30-$40. I can get 20-25 Hanley #/25 cards for that amount usually.

i guess i should list my kazmir, iwamura & garrett atkins too LOL Im not complaining about the price, hell i was hoping for 15 on it. i was just surprised on how fast it went..

I ended up paying like $30 for the Darin Erstad. Each of 5-6 that had sold previously went even higher.
