Can't sign into FCB App

To be blunt, new and interesting content is lacking here. I do come back daily to follow some of the long standing themed threads (team autographs collectors mostly), but there isn't usually much else here that catches my eye outside of a rare oddball thread here and there. I am always interested in seeing new items, learning about stuff I didn't know anything about and anything else that sparks engagement.

I personally find it sad that the daily check in posts seem to be the ones with the most feedback/engagement. The pick up threads have unlimited potential, but are carried by only a handful of people month in and out. it makes we wonder how many people are actively collecting and how many just lurk.

Not sure if everyone is/has moved to other boards, facebook or elsewhere, but I do have to agree that these types of specialty sites may not have long in this fast changing internet world. I do really appreciate the respect, support and camaraderie that is mostly shown here and on some of the other website vs the typical facebook group filled with asshats who have noting but crap to spew and can't wait to talk smack about anything and everything.

This could be part of the issue. I am literally talking to myself!

Granted, it is Saturday afternoon (3:30 PM PST). It's cold and blustery outside where I live, so a perfect lazy afternoon for the computer type of day. I went out for a lunch gathering with family earlier and have returned home, so my entire day will not be spent online, yet it's just me right now.

The search function hasn't been working for me either recently. Not sure if that's a new problem, or if I hadn't noticed it before.

Was the issue with the app ever fixed? The search function still isn't working.

I asked Gilmo about the app on FB today. He informed me the framework for the app doesn't exist anymore, and that it would need to be redeveloped to be resurrected.
