It is a safe deposit box in the bank vault. Price depends on size and you probably get a discount if you have a bank account.

In my case I decided to do it after doing interviews with various publications not ling after my kid was born. It was a great honor yet awkward walking in a bookstore knowing pictures of your collection with your name and location could be purchased for $5. Decided at that point that it is better somewhere else.

Yeah man... in a safe. The movie room has all my jerseys and pictures and helmets, but cards live in the safe.

Hmmm that would be counter productive for me. I would not collect only to put them away. A ton of stangers locally know what I have yet I do not think for a minute somebody would single out a home for a card collection. If they did in my case they would get a rude awakening. It is easy for me to say for I live tucked in the mntns with no neighbors so it would be no easy task for them to attempt anything. It would be fun if they did to watch them come up the driveway only to realize they have walked right through an invisible fence that holds my 2 rotties

However I totally undertand why people would choose to. I just have to scratch and sniff mine every so often  when in my "movie room"

I guess a firesafe is a great idea though for people. I only use that for my presonal documents

Wow, there's some great stuff out there! I'd love a AP Lustrous to go next to my Sanders. That Manning family card is great too!

I'm with you Wheels. I completely understand why people would put them in a safe, but I enjoy the aesthetic of my collection, and the hobby would lose a great deal of its appeal to me if I wasn't able to look at some of my bigger cards on a regular basis.

Here's the cards I look at the most currently. Every week or so I change it up; next week I have it scheduled to go old school and make an early 90's Pro Line display. That should be hilarious. Anyway, I display these on my nightstand and the rest definitely go in the safe under my bed. Everyone should have a safe!
