I gotta be honest, I was nearly in tears tonight during the post game. They were showing previous years post game champagne celebrations, and they showed the 2001 one, and Ankiel getting doused, and then interviewed, and that just brings back a flood of emotions for me. I felt so much for that young kid with so much promise. It STILL breaks my ******* heart what happened to him. He will always be one of my favorites.

And what about Wano freezing the Giambino with one of those `Beltran Curves`? What a ******* pitching performance by that guy! 11 K`s in 8 strong innings! CY YOUNG FOR THE 19 GAME WINNER! Ludwick and LaRue were heroes tonight too. What a playoff atmosphere this game had!

The Rockies are probably going to be the Cards first round playoff opponent since they will probably have the second best record. And I hope someone other than Lincecum wins the CY, anyone and I mean anyone. I noticed there haven't been any Lincy posts since he lost two straight.
