Interesting move by Lou. Removes Marshall from the mound in the 8th, but puts him in left replacing Sori, and brings in Heilman to pitch to B.Ryan, and apparently Marshall will replace him. NEVER seen this before.

i remember hte braves doing it a few years ago, not something you see very often

i completely disagree with joe morgan's (what a shock) and apparently the umpire's interpretation of the rule about facing a batter, if you come in to the game to pitch, swithc positions to LF then back to pitcher, you should not be forcecd to face a batter the second time you pitch, you aren't a new player coming into the game and you will have played at least a full at bat, which seems to be hte purpose of the rule

Extremely interesting. Even if the Cubs lose, it's been a good game.

Reed Johnson "supposedly" made a spectacular catch but replay showed it was not a catch and the Ump didn't catch it!!! That should have scored a run or 2 for the red birds!!!

All 3 called 3rd strikes were confirmed by K Zone so quit your whining

Are you kidding? The last batter was confirmed by K Zone, the 1st 2 were not. Get your facts straight before making a comment like that.

Typical Cardinals fan. And, yes, Reed Johnson did trap that ball so I guess the Baseball Gods tried to even things out.
