Have to win today!

Technically they don't HAVE to win today. Don't you want an exciting game 7? :D

No, I'd rather have Carp lined up for game 1 of the World Series.[/quote:1v0kk5ft]

I think it would be more interesting to see Gallardo lined up for game 1 of the World Series.

With Texas already in the World Series, I bet that MLB is hoping to God that the Cardinals make it too so they will have some National star power to attract viewers. I don't think too many outside of Texas care about the Rangers, and I don't think too many people outside of Wisconsin care too much about any of the Brewers players. Braun and Prince are good, but not one player on either roster has the kind of star power that a Pujols could attract. And the story of the Cardinals making it after being 10.5 games back would be something to promote as well. The underdog Cardinals going against the big bad Texas Rangers who have made the World Series two straight season. They'd play it off as this is the Rangers season after being beat by the Giants last year, but can the mighty Albert Pujols and the underdog Cardinals stop them?

I see a better story for Fox with the Cardinals making it.

And I'm a Cardinals fan, so screw the Brew Crew, haha.

And Gallardo wouldn't go in Game 1 if the Brewers won the series anyway. He's slated to go game 7 tomorrow if there is a game.
