Cardinals scared to pitch to Fielder?

Hell hath no fury like a Brewers fan scorned.

Remember, it's only a game.

I know I got a little more riled up when I was typing that than I actually feel. Fielder had a great season regardless of one at bat and will be in the top 5 (and should be #2 imo) in MVP voting.
Guess I'm just starting to grow a hatred for the Cardinals and their (and their fans) self-righteous attitude.

Welcome to the club my friend!

You're all pissed off because the Cardinals did the correct thing in walking a guy who hit two bombs off of them and had first base open??? Maybe you're pissed because your team was supposed to finish ahead of the "self righteous" Cardinals and got it handed to them.
Oh, when you win 10 World Series titles and have the most knowledgeable, respectful fans in the game you can be as "self righteous" as you want to be.

You had me until there. Way to go ahead and nut-punch the point you were trying to make. You snatched "******" from the jaws of "salient point" with that one...

First of all Cardinals fans did not claim themselves the most knowledgeable, it was the media that coined that term to the fans decades ago.

Secondly, I searched the posts and I could not find any others discussing outrage toward Fielder getting any other INT walks this year.

Fielder had 586 ABs, seems like if people are upset about him not hitting another HR or just a hit to reach a plateau or BA mark he should have found it in one of his 138 Ks.

Between Cubs, Cardinals, and our own FCB Brewer and Astros fans, I honestly feel like the NL Central is the second most heated-division behind the AL East of course.

Don't forget about the Reds! :)

They finished ahead of those Astros this year!

Wow Jeff, you sure do like whining about the Cardinals to try and protect your one year flash in the pan Brewers now don`t you? Why don`t you just be happy that fatty hit two jacks in the game? The Cardinals would have been stupid to pitch to Prince with a 3rd home run a possibility in a CLOSE GAME on Fan Appreciation Day AND with Pujols having the home run lead. Why would they pitch to him in that instance with him already having two home runs?

This coming from a fan of a team who act like spoiled little punks on the baseball field and in the clubhouse.
