I didn't realize Don Cherry and Craig Sager rented out their tuxedos.

Is this part of spirit week? Are we in high school?

If the Brewers did this on the road at St Louis, I'm sure they would be accused of not respecting the game or showing up the Cardinals.
Were all their shirts tucked in?

Yeah this is just all in good fun. Nothing having to do with the field or preparation or respect for the game. I thought it was hilarious that should be a textbook example for teams that want to have some clean fun

I noticed that old drunk Mike Shannon is still at it on the radio. Unfortunately one of my tractors only gets 1 radio station and wouldn't you know it's a Cardinals affiliate so I have no choice but to listen. That guy should've retired 5 years ago. The guy with him does a great job, in spite of having to make Mike Shannon look competent.

Look who decided to act like it was spirit week now. Yep you guessed it The Brew Crew in their best 80's gear. Courtesy of Carlos Gomez twitter. Ryan Braun did not participate. This was posted on MLB Network's facebook page.

Only thing I dont like about John Rooney is his constant need to describe what the Cardinals jersey looks like. Like this, Matt Holiday steps into the right handed batters box wearing that familiar white Cardinals jersey with the birds on the bat across the chest. He holds the bat right down on the knob, the pitcher looks in for the sign, heres the pitch Holiday fouls it back to to the screen. The count goes to 2-1 and holiday steps back into the batters box wearing the white home jersey with the birds on the bat across the......you get the idea

I live too far away to listen to many games on radio anymore, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.I've always liked him the few times I've listened to him.I doubt you're old enough to recall, but back in '02 Cardinals brought Joel Meyers (college football and Lakers play by play) on board KMOX when Buck was ill, and he did a kick ass job, but was not brought back.Since then I haven't liked anyone as much as him on radio. At least we're not forced to find games on KTRS anymore.Amen to that.

Like him or not, Shannon is part of Cardinals lore, and will likely have play by play until his dying days.I do enjoy listening to him recall his playing days during the games, some good stories there.
