That is weird about Killebrew. He has a 1975 Topps Twins card. I have a 1975 SSPC Killebrew card, but it's in a Royals uniform. No 76 or 77 Killebrew cards. Looks like he has more cards from the 2000's than the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's combined.

See, most of those players wouldn't really qualify for me, as they had plenty of cards with those teams. Seaver, for instance, had 1986 and 1987 card with the Red Sox, not to mention some from the Pacific Seaver set.

Killebrew on KC is a good one, Marichal on the Dodgers is another (I see a whopping 4 of those!). Same with Carlton on Cleveland, but he was only on a Topps/OPC box bottom card as a Giant during his career (until DLP came around and made a bunch in the mid 2000's).

Carlton had a few more on the Giants.

George Brett didn't have a 1993 Donruss card. He did, however, have a 1993 Donruss Preview card. Oops.

On the topic of "Don't Blink", I dug up a few more possibilities:

Goose Gossage with Pittsburgh (only a 1977 newspaper "card" and two cards from 2013 Cooperstown) and his 1989 stint with the Yankees (only a 1990 Donruss card and a PI sticker). I'd say his even shorter stint with the 1989 Giants is under-represented as well, but there's 18 cards from 2012 Prime Cuts and NT that have him as a Giant.

If I'm not mistaken, Phil Niekro had but one card as a Blue Jay; a 1988 Classic Red card, a set that also showed him as an Indian, and from his last 1987 stint as a Brave.

Robin Roberts has a 1962 Topps card as a Yankee, a team he never played for in a regular season game. He has exactly zero cards picturing him as a Cub, a team he actually did pitch for (albeit poorly) in 1966.

Gossage has a couple more with Pirates:

That Blue Jays card for Niekro seems to be the only one. Robin Roberts is depicted as a Yankee in the 1986 Sports Card Design set as well as that 1962 Topps.

This is the only item I've found with Gossage as a Giant.

Mays has a handful of Mets cards, especially in recent years. A couple from 1993 and this '74 Topps.

Man I'm loving this thread. These types of cards were always fascinating for me. Here are a couple that I know of at least one or two cards.

Graig Nettles Expos - 88 Score Traded, 1989 Score
Mario Soto Dodgers - 89 Score
Phil Niekro Blue Jays 88 Classic Red
Boog Powell Dodgers - 90 Dodgers Target
Jim Eisenreich Dodgers - 99 Upper Deck
Fernando Valenzuela Cardinals - 98 Collector's Choice, 98 Upper Deck
Kent Tekulve Reds - 89 Topps Traded, 89 Kahn's
Jack Morris Reds - 95 Collector's Choice

I couldn't find any for these
Fernando Valenzuela Angels

I'll have to think of some more.

I wouldn't qualify Winfield for the set, he had a full run of 1995 cards with Cleveland, and almost all but Topps gave him a card in 1996.

I'm not surprised you dug up a few more of these guys. My info comes from the Beckett checklists, and I did have a feeling some of their team breakdowns may not be 100% accurate.

Those are all good ones! I completely forgot about Nettles and Morris, and I actually did not know Tekulve ended up with the Reds. That Powell gets me, I collect the guy and only had a very faint idea he played with the Dodgers.

Pacific was good for catching guys in oddball uniforms and oddball sets were great at times as well. The Target Dodger set, but also their Keebler, Police and Mothers Cookie sets that ran for many years. Lots of teams have sets like that too. I learned of a lot of cameos when i was compiling a list of all the LA Dodgers so I could get autographs.

I think there's only a couple of cards from Ron Cey's brief stint with the A's in 1987 (Topps Traded and Tiffany, plus a 1987 OPC with the famous "Now With" tag). Same with Doug Decinces for his whopping 9 ABs with the 1987 Cards (1988 Fleer and Glossy, and an OPC "Now With"). Not exactly stars, but two guys with lengthy careers that finished them in forgettable ways with odd teams.

Also, I'm too lazy to look right now - any Hideo Nomo Royals cards?
