This needs to be in the thread. Badass card. Still my favorite BC set.

Great Thread.

i was a fan of all three back in 2006

This is one of the hardest true gems to find (even though its value is nil)

Thanks. The 2005 BC set is one of my all time favorite sets as well. Before all of the nonsense with the Rookie Card logo and having autographed cards of guys that had cards in the previous year's BDP set.

And yes, this is one of my absolute favorite cards as well. The only way any of his cards ever leave my collection is if I'm robbed.

I think Colby Rasmus has best chance to be best of the bunch. Helps he plays on best team and best market of the 3. I like Jay Bruce, but don't ever see him being a superstar type. Maybe he makes a occasional All Star game.

Thought it might be time to bump this thread....

Anyone changind there mind about C-Go being the best of the bunch? He has cemented my opinion for sure.

Kid is on pace for .310, 35+ homeruns, 110+ rbi, 25+ Sb's!

WOW

I'm surprised Gonzalez has kept it up. Here's the Updated ZiPS projections:

Cargo: .308/.346/.528 // 21 SB
Rasmus: .275/.351/.497 // 14SB

Still, the fundamental tools are better with Rasmus. However, they're both pretty bad. They're both going to be drafted too high going into fantasy next year.

I chose Carlos Gonzalez at the end of LAST season.

Bruce reeks of Dave Kingman/Rob Deer.

Rasmus and Gonzalez COULD be on equal footing, if Rasmus can keep his AVG up.

Overall, I think Gonzalez is the best all around player of the 3.

Gonzalez is a Coors field creation and Jeff Francouer on the road.... Put Rasmus in the same place and were talking about the best centerfielder in baseball..

Home: .372 .412 .704 1.116
Road: .262 .279. .385 .663

Shoulda, woulda, coulda......

Coors field is NOT a hitters paradise anymore, this is PROVEN. And if Colby Rasmus played in Coors Field, he would NOT be the best CF in baseball sorry, that is nuts. Carlos has put up better numbers in every single important hitting category than Rasmus, not sure how that can be disputed.

5 More HR
.39 higher in BA
5 more Steals
24 more Rbi

You want to blame this all on Coors field? How about Rasmus being in a lineup with Holliday and Pujols?? Does Gonzalez have that advantage?

remember Bruce broke wrist last year, the pro's say it takes at least 1 and a half years to regain strength in wrist and forearms

Bruce has been beyond bad over the last month and change. No home runs and couple rbi's and hitting under 200. I still can't believe Reds are doing so well with both Bruce and Stubbs sucking so bad. Stubbs in now out of a job. How long do they keep trotting Bruce out there, before they look at someone else for awhile?

Father-fudgin' thanked!

I'm tired of that dumb-a-- argument. It's fallacious, and obsolete.

This week someone from Atlanta told me that homers leave Coors 1 second faster than they do elsewhere, and that the only reason I got 3 balls during BP was because it was Colorado

I never would have guessed Gonzalez earlier this year, but he is on a role.

I definitely expected success, from the man, but - like you - not anything like this.
It has been a pleasant surprise. I don't care that we don't have Holliday.
