Marmol walks tons of batters and cannot consistently throw strikes, much less locate his pitches. Unless he can hold opposing teams to a batting average of below .200, he is going to stink .

I think they can win 70 games. The rotation is decent enough for the team to be merely bad and not a total abomination. Improvement!

I wish I could have you optimism, but I just don't see it with this team.

I will say this however. Samardzija is pitching great so far this year. Looks like an ace.
