This issue with 08 is that its just about double the price of 07. I don't remember off the top of my head how many autos were in 08 but from two cases here are the big names i pulled.

So 7 "big" names. But if you don't pull 3+ or a blue ref+, its going to be hard to profit right after breaking.

If you are going to rip, i would suggest 08, then finding a BGS deal (FCB or bulk) and get all the nice stuff graded and hope some of them gem.

Beckham is another solid auto.

Derek holland is a solid player and mike montgomery jumped to the #1 spot for the royals.

Yea, i didn't pull any Beckham and got a base and xfr of Holland. Also got a base and blue ref of Montgomery but moved them because he wasn't exactly a big hit on release. When i said 7 big names i meant I pulled 7, not how many were in the set.

How are Porcello and Danks selling?

The base set is atrocious. If im not mistaken even the top tier guys don't sell very well at all. So you are pretty much looking at 12 cards for 800. Obviously it is more than that but it is unlikely that you will pull a non auto with a significant value (25+). Even say you could sell everything but the 12 autos for 200, which is very generous imo, you still need to average $50 per auto, something that will be nearly impossible. When this product was at 600/650 it was a decent deal, and live.com made it a terrific deal. At 800 its not a buy imo
