I can't find any completed auctions, and wanted to get the boards thoughts on this...

I sold the (3) I have originally for $240 because I needed the cash. The dead beat buyer never paid....

Now base autos are getting $40 or so and I am thinking that $80 per is cheap.....

Any help is appreciated

Xfractors are still in the mid-60s, so I think 80-90 is still fair for blues. You might be able to squeeze out $100, but what you got before still seems fair.

There haven't been a ton of sales at $40 for a base Chrome so based on the history of the card (and the way he performed his last start) I think $40 is probably a bit high to base it off.

That said, his Blues seem to usually do quite well (compared to his other cards) so I think you could probably do better than $80 apiece. I'd say maybe $100, and if he has a good next start, possibly even higher. He had only given up 13 runs in his previous 9 starts (before a couple nights ago) which had people thinking he was back in last season's form (some forget that last season he also started off cold.) The rough outing a couple days ago (really just a single rough inning, but he left after giving up 4 ER in 5.2) might have derailed the momentum slightly, so you may want to consider waiting.

I contacted a seller on Ebay who had 3 Blues for sale, I was wondering if he would break up the lot. He said he had already turned down an offer for $270 on the lot, but I think around $90 is a good price for it.

I'd think you could sell them easily around $90 - $100.

Shame he didn't pitch better the other day......can you hold on to them another month or are they on the chopping block?
