That last shot was so clutch though, with Allen all over him. Not sure where the help was for Allen on that shot, considering the double teamed him the entire game.

Sign Pierce to a cheaper extension after this season, and hope you get something out of garnett. The way the team is constructed right now there is no chance they go deep in the playoffs.

I think Allen has had a far worse season than Pierce. Pierce has already said he'd take a cheaper deal to stay with Boston, and he has another year left on his deal. Allen's expiring is going to yield better returns.
