Certified Cashier's Checks?

Hey, has anyone been offered a certified cashier's check from bank of america before? I'm getting a high end offer and that's how the potential buyer wants to pay. Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have a B of A near you to cash the check? And I mean "cash" cash, not deposit.

If so, you should be fine. Regardless of the perceived provenance of any type of check or MO, I always let it run completely through the bank before anything goes on in the transaction.

It's overkill, but it's my policy.

That's a good way to think of it. I do have a bank of america nearby. I just wanted to make sure before anything bites me in the back as so many ways to scam others nowadays. Thanks. :mrgreen:
