Shutting my Rays down since he came in relief of Coke. I mean he's making them all look like chumps, wicked cutter or hard slider that continues to jam all the righties and enough of a fastball to keep them honest. I'm going to guess his next appearance for Detroit is a start.

Congratulations to Charlie Furbush on his 1st major league win!

This guy has been a personal favorite of mine since the start of 2010-and it's really nice to see him get an opportunity, and to take advantage of it. He definitely deserves it, I really hope the Tigers decide to stick Coke in the 'pen, and leave Charlie in the rotation-but I know stubborn ole, cigarette smokin' Jim Leyland won't do it. Oh well.

I built a nice little stash-and once he got called up to the 'pen, I figured his stuff would never see much of a bump. With Coke leaving with a sprained ankle in the 4th, he got his chance and did what he had to. Great to see.
